Instructional Design

Cubic eLearning development phases:

1. Analyse [Using our eFramework we analyse the learning requirements, including learning objectives, assessment requirements, existing resource materials, technical environment, deployment options, budget, preferred tools, design standards, reporting, user management requirements.]
2. Design [Based on our analysis findings, we design the training program solution, including, assess and design the instructional approach, select the media approach, design the assessment methods, design the interface requirements, graphic styles, produce development standards and templates, discover any restrictions.]
3. Prototype [Develop a prototype to test the overall approach, key design aspects, and functionality. Review and adjust the prototype, based on test feedback.]
4. Storyboard [Design the learning activities, information maps and sequences for the training course. Create a storyboard and/ or script for the program, which includes screen-by-screen description map for all the training course content, proposed graphics and layouts and applicable reference materials.  Review and update based on feedback.]
5. Develop [Build the interface, gather resources, including recording of video and audio, complete programming and graphic development.  Build and compile the program or curriculum.  Once the initial build is complete,  comprehensive quality assurance testing is conducted.]
6. Pilot [Test the materials meet the objectives, provide feedback and apply adjustments]. 
7. Implement [Install, deploy and distribute program according to agreed process and requirements.]
8. Support [Provide instruction on access, deployment, technical and hosting requirements.]
9. Evaluate [Evaluation of the solution occurs at various stages throughout the process, with opportunities to refine each key milestone before progressing to the next stage.  Each milestone includes a sign off point.  Assessment of the solution outcomes are mapped against specific program objectives.  Analyse, review and report on learning results.]
