Graduate Program a Year Round Exercise

Thursday, 03 June 2010 11:59

"We couldn't be more happy with the Graduate Intake of 2010” commented Julia Merten, our Human Capital Manager. After a comprehensive Induction program during February and March, the six new Analysts all have at least one project engagement under their belt.

They have been well integrated into the various project teams which allows for ongoing mentoring on-the-job.  This is an important part of the process because learning continues as individuals progress within Cubic.

When asked how they would explain their job to prospective graduates the key ideas were “passion for technology”, “business processes and different environments/industries”, “continuous learning and thrown into the deep end” and a great way to enter the L&D consulting profession.

Meanwhile, planning commences for the 2011 intake with the application process opening next month.  Several rounds of interviews and an Assessment Centre will be run over the second half of the year with offers made before the end of the year.  We hope to see the same calibre of applicants once again.
