Cubic Consulting has announced a new Chief Executive & Consulting Director.
Virginia Smith, currently consulting director, will become Chief Executive of Cubic Consulting.
Virginia succeeds David Johnson in the position, who is moving on to become Chief Executive Cubic Group Asia Pacific. Virginia will assume her new role on 1 January, 2007, at the same time as David takes up his new role.
Virginia was instrumental in establishing Cubic Consulting in 2004. She has over 10 years experience in the consulting industry having held senior roles at Accenture and DA Consulting Group. She graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and has a Post Graduate Certificate in Change Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales.

"As a trusted member of my executive team Virginia has consistently delivered successful outcomes on complex accounts. In addition, Linda Bassett, currently Sydney business development manager, will step up to the consulting director role vacated by Virginia. Linda brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held operations responsibilities at DA Consulting Group, IBM, and Global Knowledge.
Virginia is based in Melbourne while Linda is based in Sydney. David will also retain a base in the Sydney office |
